Dates of Mintage 1351-1377 Represented Worth: 4 pennies sterling
Extended Description
Replica Edward III groat hammered from lead free pewter. These are beautiful coins--heavy, large, and solid. Edward III was the first king to make the four-penny Groat coin a standard part of his coinage. This replica coin is 26-28mm from side to side, and is 1.5-2mm in thickness. The metal weight of these coins is four times that of the Edward I penny, making it a substantial coin in comparison.
